Indeed. Pictured above is some of the progress taking place in the homes for the children! Isai is standing next to the kitchen they are building, also pictured is the beginning of a latrine "outside toilet". House 1 is coming along beautifully, who would of thought the houses could look anything like this! This girl is just 12, watching Isai work on the property... so interested I tell you.
.
These homes are very needed amongst this province as the Governor told us that there aren't any other homes caring for orphaned children in Muramvya. Usually they would send off the orphaned children to other provinces where there is space available in an orphanage. This is a special thing being so close to their home village, as the children will be able to remain in a stronger connection with their remaining family members and older siblings.
.
I had a great meeting today with the Governor and Administrator of Muramvya discussing our partnership in identifying orphaned children in need. Isai was working, so I brought Malaki in the car seat. People were amazed to see this big bulky plastic chair looking thing that Malaki was sleeping in... I had to explain it over and over again! He was a trooper though, and slept right through the meeting. As we move forward, the grace and direction of God is evident... manifesting itself daily. Its amazing to look back and to see the hand of God orchestrating things! Until next time...
