I often ask myself what I live for. To live for God, yes... but in what way. In my life, I have found this journey to be more challenging and in the same phrase, more rewarding then I ever could of imagined... To know that each day we are here, moving forward and progressing in the repairing of the homes; to know we are another helping hand among many helping to change the face of tomorrow for the people of Burundi.

My heart has been crushed and broken for these people, more so lately as I have heard story upon story of real people, going through real things. For more on stories like these, please follow us on our family blog at http://www.thetorrestribe.blogspot.com/ . Truly, now is the time and a loving Father is responding to the cries of His people. The cries for peace, restoration, justice and hope. They are no longer forgotten, and surly hope shall not tarry. To all of you that are supporting this mission with your resources, time, skills and prayers.... thank you. Truly without you, this is not possible. From the bottom of our hearts, and the top... :o) Thank you.

Pictured above is the flowers planted at the houses, our newly built latrine, and finally the houses being painted! Little by little....! Until next time...
