A Christmas to remember with those who need it the most!

We had a Christmas to remember during our partnership with a local association who cares for orphaned girls. As we arrived, we were welcomed with signing and dancing that set everything in motion for the day. Throughout the day, we opened gifts, sang and danced, made Christmas cards for the children in the US, gave classes on how to brush your teeth and we also spoke to them on self worth, purpose and inner beauty. This particular moment was very special to us and also the girls as we kept speaking over them "no matter what things you have gone through in this life, you are beautiful and you have purpose". Their eyes glowed and twinkled as we asked them "do you know how precious you are in the eyes of God"? It moved our hearts as they smiled from cheek to cheek. As Christmas gifts we gave them candy, colored pencils, stickers and a new shirt! All this was possible because of the partnerships we have in America; thank you for making this Christmas "A Christmas to remember". The girls were very excited when they found out that for our Christmas lunch we brought rice, beans and meat! They were especially excited about the meat as it is rare occasions for them to eat meat. Picture 1: The girls are dancing and singing for us. Picture 2: The girls just opened one of their gifts (a shirt) and were so excited! Picture 3: The girls are showing us their tooth brushing skills! Picture 4: The girls are making Christmas cards for the children in America. Picture 5: Isai and his little princess. Picture 6: Isai and the girls wishing you a Happy New Year with a thumbs up! Until next time...
