We had a wonderful Christmas day, sharing it zith our friends from Germany, China and Burundi! We enjoyed many dishes including Spanish rice, Shish Kabobs, Plaintains, Salad and a few chinese dishes that would be rather challenging to describe! We shared wonderful moments together as we all expressed in absence of being with our families, we somehow have one another and have become like family. We enjoyed the food, opened gifts and read the amazing story of Jesus out of the book of Luke in Chinese and English! Picture 1: Isai and I received our very first package in the mail and it came from Germany! A Big thanks to the Butch Family! Picture 2: Our feast! Picture 3: Isai, Ghen, Lee May and Sam under our quickly made tarp to protect the brick grill from rain! Picture 4: Thiogen & Leonce are opening up gifts! Picture 5: Sam, Sabine & Noamie on Christmas Eve, they are truly our dearest friends and family here in Burundi! We just wanted to share with all our friends and family our Christmas moments in Burundi! We hope you all had a Merry Christmas and spent it with those who mean the most to you.
