We are on a mission...

And were off! Here we are leaving the Bujumbura airport off to America simply on a mission. As you can imagine, coming to the US once a year if that places a list of goals and a "must do list" before us! Holiday's with the family - check, loving on friends - check, visiting partner churches, people and business's - check! It's an exciting time, a time that took us much preparation, a time that we will cherish, a time to remember. Our mission as we step foot on American soil is to make awareness and make known the opportunity at hand. To have a direct impact on the future of the country of Burundi by helping to transform the lives of orphaned children.

We are raising $3,000 in monthly sponsors to care for 16 orphaned children...

This covers the budget for 2 orphan homes (including 9 staff, clothing, food, medical etc for 16 children) and the living expenses for the Torres family living in Burundi. We are looking for sponsors to commit to giving monthly in 2011. Just think, 30 people giving $100 a month for 12 months.... can change lives. Better yet, 60 people giving $50 a month for one year.... Together we can make it happen and change the future for the children of Burundi. Will you respond to the cries of a child today?
