Kome... Kome, Kome. One of Isai's team members in the construction process. Late 60's, loves his wife (and always makes that clear!), usually works in "stomping mud" for laying bricks... not the most hard working or skilled workers, but he brings something special to the team that just keeps them going... and laughing! Great asset, indeed.
Isai working from a distance... leading his team in an amazing way.
One of the 6 masons who helped to lay the bricks working the level... I'm sure you can see that he stopped working for a moment to get a good pose for the picture...!
Bricks layed, columns built... we are approaching the speckling of cement onto the inside and outside walls, putting the windows and doors in, the roof on and so forth. The first children's home is for the boys and Mama Agnes... 3 bedrooms, a bathroom to bathe, and another for a toilet... along with a good but modest living room space. Once we finish the boys house, we are going to begin the girls home and also a training center / cafeteria that will be used for training, cooking, eating and so on. We hope to transition all our staff and children in the summer of 2012! Please help us in bringing awareness to people that might be interested in partnering to help build our children's village "The Village of Jeremiah 29:11". Even from your office, from your home... and even your work environment, you can make a difference. Together, we can give hope. Until next time...
