Summer time in it's beauty.

Lately, life has been a whirl wind. Summer time in it's beauty, I suppose. Recent things of interest: My 3 hour walk with some of our staff through the mountain's from our land to our homes. (the good road is a 30 minute drive; the walk through the mountain's was exhausting, but priceless nonetheless as we saw waterfalls and rushing rivers.) The excitement we share as a family and team as we have completed the latrine (Case DE John!), we are preparing to build the foundation of the first home and the storage... Isai is a fine example of the wisdom of God in building with simple materials. I'm continually amazed as he builds in such excellence with such limited resources. We brought the boys to our land last Friday with 4 of our staff, and they loved it! They helped leveling out the foundation for their new home. We ate bread and avocado sandwiches with peanuts. Starting a craft program with the kids this summer in hopes that they can learn to sew and make baskets to sell and in return we can start a "money savings" for their futures. Time will tell who is interested in crafting... To sum it all up, the children are great, the staff are being transformed by God. Together we are running the race to do God's will in hopes to be more like Jesus. Until next time...
