We work for hunger.

This phrase often runs through my mind as I look upon all the workers Isai has been leading over the past month in building our fence and road. The simply work for hunger, and hard at that. Isai is an amazing leader and sees potential in these guys, little by little teaching them along the way. Yes, sometimes misunderstandings are bound to happen... like ordering 1 truck of sand and 4 are dropped off...! Daily we are learning lessons that at the end of the day, when frustrations have past are quite valuable! Its a beautiful time right now and truly, God is has been with us.

Our children are doing wonderful, excelling in school, growing in their character, learning to love in a real way from our loving Father who loves us unconditionally. Today, they got their very first pair of shoes, EVER. This was nice... They were cheering and jumping around (up and down, to feel the new cushions below their feet!) If I could say an update of the past weeks I would sum it up with this. "After about 4 months of being together, I am seeing a family mold and grow in unity and love... the children are growing confidence to venture out in their personalities and become who they were created to be, today, they have a hope for their futures. They are singing, smiling, helpful, affectionate and loving; brightening our days when times seem hard. They are a continual reminder of God's mercy and justice, they are being transformed in the love of God." Having set out years ago to respond to the cries of a child, never could we of imagined to be a part of something so precious to the heart of God. Until next time...
