In the US raising awareness & support... back to Burundi!

Just a quick glimpse of Burundi pictured above. We went to one of the rally's that the president is doing prior to elections next month. Pictured above is the Burundian Army; and below the drummers. I (Samantha) had a wonderful time back in the US with our team raising awareness and funding for our projects that are about to begin. We would like to give a big thank you to all of our donors who made time to meet with me, along with the churches and organizations that have said "yes" to responding to the cries of a child in Burundi. Truly without you, we wouldn't be able to do anything to help these kids. We are still raising funding for Phase 1 (caring for orphans in a rented house) and Phase 2 (building orphan homes) and need all the help we can get. If you aren't in a financial position to give money, we can surely use your skills, time and resources just as much! It will truly take all of us to make a difference and give the children of Burundi a hope for tomorrow. We have been given the opportunity to change the world... will you help us one village, one family... one child at a time? You can make the difference today. As there are many parents out there, many brothers, many sisters; I ask that you would remember that these children in horrific circumstances once had parents and once had it all together. They simply need our help to allow them to grow up with a future. Surly hope will not tarry. Until next time...

  1. It was so great to see you, Sam! The kids were happy to see you & it blessed us to be able to contribute to your great mission. We always want to be mindful of the cries of children. Even the silent ones. We are praying for you and look forward to the day when Rocky gets to join you in Burundi to help! Love you!
