The Little Things this Christmas

Sometimes I think of what I'll go without,

Like all the presents and family without a doubt.

All the sweets and nice foods we eat,

The Christmas cookies and all the other treats.

The season so jolly and shopping all around,

Searching for presents till all are found.

Now I see Christmas through different eyes,

Though I have so little my heart begins to cry.

For I have a little tree though but 1 or 2 gifts,

Most here don't have one but think just what if.

I look also at the ornaments and look at the lights,
Without them I don't see my Christmas as bright.

So what is the message I want to bring forth,

It's not the value but the gift that gives it worth.

It's the people and the season that makes it so good,

It's the warmth in your heart that says you should.

So share it and give it make this Christmas great,

Love and be happy in your heart don't debate.

Share your love this season and live it out loud,

Give your friends and family something this Christmas

in which to be proud.
